I love the idea of computers talking to each other. Not “talking” via code or cable or however the hell computers send data back and forth these days. I mean actual conversations. “How’s your day been?”, “OMG, did you hear that James was accidentally formatted?”, “We need to talk about where this network is going.” That’s some Arthur C. When I first heard it, I couldn’t quite put my finger on what Mitski’s song Goodbye, My Danish Sweetheart was about. I got a strange, uneasy sense of discord every time I listened to it.
